Manifest

What do you want to put in the jar?

how this works

There's no wrong way to fill a jar. But if you want the traditional shape of it:

  • Present tense, as if it's already true. "I am steady," not "I will be steady."
  • State it, don't negate it. "I am at peace" instead of "I am no longer anxious" — the mind holds onto the word it hears, not the "not."
  • Specific enough to feel real, open enough to arrive in its own way.

The rest is ritual, not rule: write it, drop it, let it go. What matters is that it's out of your head and held somewhere.

The Shelf

Every jar you've sealed, kept here. Open one to look back — you can read, but you can't add.

About

What this is

A jar you keep, quietly, for the things you're calling in. Write one down, release it, and it settles into the glass — no streaks, no scores, no notification pretending your life changed because you typed a sentence. The jar just holds it.

How it works

There's no wrong way to fill a jar, but if you want the traditional shape of a manifestation: write it in the present tense, as if it's already true — "I am steady," not "I will be steady." State it rather than negate it, since the mind holds onto the word it hears, not the "not." Make it specific enough to feel real, open enough to arrive however it actually arrives.

The rest is ritual, not rule. Write it, drop it, let it go. Some people never read their jar again — that not-looking is part of it.

Sealing a jar

A jar doesn't fill to a fixed number — you seal it whenever it feels full, the same way you'd decide a real jar has enough in it. Once sealed, it moves to the Shelf permanently, exactly as it was, and a new jar starts. Each new jar takes its own shape, the same way real glassware does — no two look quite alike.

What's next

The garden this jar sits in is meant to keep changing — different light for different seasons, day turning to evening, small ambient life moving through the background rather than a single static photograph. That's still being built.

Your jars live only in this browser's storage — nobody else can read them, and nothing is sent anywhere.
